Our guest MC for 2010 is one of Australia’s best-known and leading comic entertainers – Vince Sorrenti. Sorrenti has appeared on almost every variety and light format program of the last decade, including satirising sport on Channel Nine's Wide World of Sport; reporting on A Current Affair and performing on MTV and Face the Press. The Australian Defence Force Charity Ball is now firmly established on the Queensland social calendar. Each year, guests from the corporate scene and the Australian defence organisation come together with Legacy to raise funds for the care of families that lose a loved one serving Australia. This year we expect 1,000 guests to assemble at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 August for an evening of good food and wine, entertainment, dancing and fun. This social extravaganza is the ideal place to impress your personal and business contacts, network, or simply catch up with old friends or meet new ones. There is also an exciting auction of quality items including our renowned ‘money can’t buy experiences’ not available anywhere else.
